This policy covers all activities from United Engineering Services LLC (hereinafter referred to “UES”) with regard to privacy of Personal Data.
UES aims to be a company that acts to the highest level of ethical and legal conduct in its activities including those pertaining the management of its employees. In this context, UES will ensure the privacy of the personal data it possesses, unless overriding reasons force it to disclose certain data as prescribed by the relevant laws
“UES” means United Engineering Services LLC, an Omani limited liability company with commercial registration number 1086812, organised and existing under the laws of Oman and its principal place of business is at Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, including, but not limited to, name, date of birth, gender, religion, home address, email address, telephone number, bank information and passport number.
UES will ensure the privacy and confidentiality of the Personal Data it possesses, processes and retains. UES has taken all necessary steps to protect Personal Data in accordance with the relevant and applicable regulations, including, but not limited to Personal Data Protection Law was issued by Royal Decree No. 6/2022, as amended.
UES will only transfer Personal Data to other UES or MB Holding companies, or to others to the extent appropriate, with a specific and allowed purpose in mind and in accordance with the relevant and applicable regulations, including, but not limited to Personal Data Protection Law was issued by Royal Decree No. 6/2022, as amended.
The Head of Policy and the legal department is responsible for the correct execution of this policy, in line with the approved Authority Matrix.
Without prejudice to penalties stipulated in the Penal law or any other law, crimes stated in the Personal Data Protection Law issued by Royal Decree No. 6/2022, and whenever amended, shall be applicabe therein. Any violation of this policy is subject to the disciplinary measures as mentioned in the UES policies, which may include instant dismissal.
